Berberoğlu Dairy Lighting Project

As Pamir Lighting, we delivered the lighting solutions for the Berberoğlu Dairy facility. In the production of milk and dairy products, hygiene, efficiency and uninterrupted operation are of great importance. In this project, our aim was to provide reliable lighting across the industrial areas, from production to storage, while creating a design-led composition in the gallery void of the administrative building that reflects the company's identity.

In the production areas, we used Industrial High Bay linear LED luminaires. By positioning this product, which distributes light along a line, in alignment with the axis of the production lines, we achieved uniform, shadow-free lighting in the areas where processes such as filling and packaging take place. Its efficacy, which holds steady at around 122 lm/W across all types, delivers powerful lighting while keeping energy consumption low in production areas that operate around the clock. Pendant, busbar and surface mounting options offered flexibility during installation.

In the storage areas, we chose Aluminium Waterproof luminaires. Offering high heat dissipation and mechanical strength with their corrosion-resistant aluminium body, these luminaires provide a long-lasting and reliable solution in storage environments exposed to moisture and cleaning processes.

The most striking feature of the project, however, is in the gallery void of the administrative building. Here, we designed half-moon luminaires with the Galaksi Freedom modular system and suspended each at a different length, creating a stepped composition of light throughout the void. The crescent forms, positioned at different levels, emphasise the vertical volume of the gallery and add depth to the space; perceived from a different perspective on each floor, this arrangement creates a strong focal point at the heart of the building. The height-adjustable steel wire suspension system allowed each luminaire to be positioned precisely at its planned level.

The luminaires used in the project feature an aluminium body, LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours and ENEC-compliant constant current drivers. Some of the luminaires also offer dimmable DALI driver and emergency kit options, meeting both energy saving and safety requirements.
