Since 1974

Pamir Elektrik was founded in 1974 by our Chairman of the Board, Necat Halit Pamir, and manufactured a range of electrical materials until 1990. From 1990 onwards, our company specialised its field of activity in line with sectoral developments and customer demands, and today, under the Pamir Lighting brand, provides professional solutions in architectural and industrial lighting.

From our production facility in Konya, we operate throughout Türkiye and in more than 40 countries. With over half a century of experience, our expert team of 60, a product range exceeding 250 items and more than 23,000 completed projects, we contribute to the international representation of quality Turkish manufacturing.

Integrated Production Structure

All processes, from the earliest design stage to the finished product ready for dispatch, are carried out in our own factory. Optical, thermal and mechanical design; mould and prototype production; sheet metal processing, the paint shop, and our electronics and assembly lines are all located within the same facility. This integrated structure allows quality to be monitored at every stage, enables short delivery times without dependence on external suppliers, and provides full control over cost management — bringing aesthetics and competitiveness together in a single product.

Our Test Laboratory

In order to develop lighting designs compliant with the EN 60598 standards and to manufacture high-quality products, Pamir Lighting carries out comprehensive testing in a laboratory equipped to international standards. The mechanical, electrical and thermal tests conducted in this laboratory ensure that our products are rigorously assessed for user health, safety and conformity with quality standards.

Using the goniophotometer in our laboratory, the luminous intensity distribution of our luminaires is measured in three dimensions; the IES and LDT files used in project planning are generated directly from this measurement data. Total luminous flux and system efficacy are determined by means of an integrating sphere, while colour temperature, colour rendering index and colour consistency values are established with a spectrophotometer. Our temperature test equipment monitors LED and driver temperatures, verifying the thermal behaviour of the product under real operating conditions.

This infrastructure guarantees that every value declared in our catalogues is based on measured and recorded data, and ensures that the illuminance levels foreseen in the project are fully achieved on site.

Our R&D Approach

The R&D activities of Pamir Lighting not only advance the design and production of our products, but also bring innovative solutions to the sector, raising the user experience to the highest level. Alongside the development of our standard product families, bespoke luminaire designs are created for architectural projects; products suited to the required light distribution, mounting detail and architectural concept are rapidly prototyped, tested in our laboratory and put into serial production. From lighting calculations through to commissioning, our technical staff supports project teams at every stage.
