Termoform Granül Aksaray Factory Office Lighting Project

As Pamir Lighting, we delivered the lighting solutions for the office section of Termoform Granül's factory in Aksaray, Türkiye. In the administrative areas of an industrial facility, our aim was to create a design-led lighting scheme that offers a comfortable environment for employees while reflecting the company's modern and innovative identity.

Luminaires with UGR<19 glare control were used in the project. UGR<19 minimises glare for office staff working at screens and desks for long periods, reducing eye strain and meeting the comfort level required by European standards for office lighting. In this way, the aesthetics of the design-led luminaires were brought into the space without compromising the visual comfort of employees.

In the common areas and work sections of the office, we used Galaksi S pendant luminaires. Drawing a curving wave instead of a straight line, Galaksi S offers an alternative to ring and linear forms, maintaining the continuity of light while creating a lively, flowing line on the ceiling. With two-curve and three-curve geometries and lengths from 1570 mm to 3095 mm, we were able to size the luminaire to suit the scale of each area. As a result, Galaksi S became not just a lighting element but an architectural feature that gives the office its character.

In meeting rooms and management areas, we used Galaksi O Mini Direct luminaires. With its slim ring profile just 40 mm wide and 45 mm high, Galaksi O Mini offers a light and elegant look on the ceiling. Diameter steps from 408 mm to 930 mm, progressing in increments of about 85-90 mm, allowed us to proportion the luminaires precisely to the size of meeting tables and furniture. Designed to be used in groups, it enabled us to create aesthetic compositions with rings of different diameters.

Both products use a height-adjustable suspension system made of 1 mm braided steel wire and nickel-plated brass parts. With an aluminium body available in white and black, LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours and ENEC-compliant constant current drivers, they offer a long-lasting solution with low maintenance costs. Some of the luminaires also offer dimmable DALI driver and emergency kit options, meeting both energy saving and safety requirements.
