Global Metal Lighting Project

As Pamir Lighting, we delivered the lighting solutions for Global Metal. In this project, our aim was to create a design-led scheme in the office section while providing functional lighting that withstands demanding working conditions inside the range hoods.

The highlight of the office section was the continuous rectangular form of light we created with Vega Suspend linear luminaires. By joining the luminaires end to end, we formed a single-piece frame of light that runs around the entire room, turning seamlessly at the corners. This rectangular form defines the boundaries of the space with light, giving the office a strong and modern identity while providing balanced and uniform lighting to every part of the room. With its elegant 70 mm profile, Vega creates a clear and orderly line on the ceiling, while its height-adjustable suspension system, made of 1 mm braided steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts, offered flexibility during installation.

For complementary lighting in the office, we used Recessed Adjustable Downlight-2 luminaires. Thanks to their adjustable design, light can be directed precisely to the surfaces and details where it is needed. Single, double and triple head options allow flexible use for different lighting needs. With an aluminium body providing effective cooling and LUMILEDS LED modules rated at 60,000 hours, these luminaires offer a long-lasting and efficient solution.

Inside the range hoods, we used Range Hood Lighting luminaires. Developed for areas exposed to high temperatures, steam and grease vapour, this luminaire offers safe operation in demanding conditions with its RAL 9016 electrostatic powder-coated sheet metal body, certified 4 mm tempered glass and thermoplastic elastomer seal. Its mirror-finish anodised aluminium reflector with 99.9% purity directs light efficiently onto the target work surface, providing clear and powerful lighting in cooking areas.

The luminaires used in the project feature LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours and ENEC-compliant, low-loss constant current drivers. Some of the luminaires also offer dimmable DALI driver and emergency kit options, meeting both energy saving and safety requirements.
