Fluent

Fluent is a linear waterproof LED luminaire with a corrosion-resistant extruded polycarbonate body. Its place within the waterproof programme is defined by efficiency: at roughly 110 to 116 lm/W it represents the highest efficiency band in the range. At a given power it delivers about ten per cent more light than the aluminium waterproof model, a difference that reads straight through to annual energy consumption in industrial facilities where luminaires stay on for long hours.

The product is manufactured in fifteen codes. Lengths are 575, 853, 1133, 1414, 1695, 1976, 2256, 2536 and 2816 mm. Lengths up to 1976 mm carry two LED densities: the standard L15C and the denser L25C. EALPE12L15C opens the range at 14 W and 1,540 lm in 575 mm; EALPE17L25C reaches the highest output in the series at 70 W and 8,110 lm. Body width is 58 mm and height just 53 mm; weight ranges from 0.7 kg to 3.9 kg. At 53 mm this is the slimmest section in the waterproof programme, an advantage where the luminaire mounts close to the ceiling.

The polycarbonate body resists chemical attack and moisture, which makes it the choice in laundries and food production areas where a metal body would carry a corrosion risk. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours; the converter is a long-life, low-power, ENEC-compliant constant current type.
