Elite    Daisy    Panel    1X    Acoustic    is    a    rectangular-bodied    acoustic    LED    panel    carrying    a    single    line    of    light.    What    separates    it    from    the    circular    and    oval models    in    the    range    is    the    broad,    flat    surface    it    presents    —    and    that    translates    directly    into    an    acoustic    advantage.    Since    sound    absorption    scales    with the    area    of    the    absorptive    face,    a    panel    provides    considerably    more    absorbing    surface    than    a    circular    luminaire    occupying    the    same    mounting    area. The    "1X"    designation    indicates    a    single    line    of    light    on    the    panel.    That    arrangement    supplies    sufficient    illumination    for    areas    with    moderate    lighting requirements    while    leaving    the    entire    remaining    surface    free    to    work    acoustically.    The    9    mm    recycled    PET    felt    used    here    has    an    NRC    value    of    0.70    to    EN ISO    354    and    peaks    at    an    absorption    coefficient    of    0.87    at    400    Hz. In    schools    and    educational    buildings,    fire    classification    is    often    a    decisive    criterion.    The    material    is    rated    B-s1,    d0    under    EN    13501-1    and    Class    A    under ASTM    E84.    The    aluminium    body    is    offered    in    white    and    black.    LUMILEDS,    OSRAM    and    NICHIA    LED    modules    rated    at    60,000    hours,    an    ENEC-compliant converter    and    an    adjustable    suspension    are    used.    A    DALI    driver    and    emergency    kit    can    be    specified    as    options.On request, UGR<19 glare control and CRI 90 colour rendering can also be provided.
