Ulu Demir Çelik Aksaray Steel Processing Plant Lighting Project

As Pamir Lighting, we delivered the lighting solutions for Ulu Demir Çelik's Steel Processing Plant in Aksaray, Türkiye. In a production facility operating under heavy industrial conditions, our aim was to create an integrated scheme that provides a safe and productive working environment in the production areas and comfortable office lighting in the administrative sections.

In the production areas, we used Industrial High Bay linear LED luminaires. Unlike round high bay fittings, this product distributes light along a line, providing a more efficient layout in production areas with a linear arrangement, such as steel processing lines. Thanks to its high efficacy, which holds steady at around 122 lm/W across all types, we achieved powerful and uniform lighting in the high-ceilinged production hall while keeping energy consumption under control. A range of lengths and power levels allowed us to set the right light level for each production section, while pendant, busbar and surface mounting options enabled an installation suited to the structure of the facility. Its aluminium body with effective cooling ensures long-lasting performance in demanding working conditions.

In the office sections of the plant, we chose Recessed Back Light Gypsum Ceiling LED panels. Installed flush into the plasterboard ceiling, these panels create a continuous, frameless ceiling. Thanks to the back-lit design, which sends light from behind the panel, individual LEDs are not visible and the panel reads as a single illuminated surface with even brightness. This created a balanced and comfortable working environment that is easy on the eyes for office staff.

The luminaires used in the project feature LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours and ENEC-compliant constant current drivers. Some of the luminaires also offer dimmable DALI driver and emergency kit options, meeting both energy saving and safety requirements.
