Switzerland Office Lighting Project

As Pamir Lighting, we delivered the lighting solutions for an office project in Switzerland. In a market known for its high quality expectations, our aim was to create a bespoke lighting scheme that offers a comfortable environment for employees while strengthening the architecture of the space.

The most striking aspect of the project was the custom products we designed with the Galaksi Freedom modular system to wrap around the columns in the office. In most projects, columns are treated as obstacles that interrupt lighting lines and need to be worked around. In this project, we turned them into part of the design. Because arc and straight modules can be joined end to end, the lines of light continue around the columns rather than stopping when they reach them. This creates a fluid, uninterrupted composition of light on the ceiling, while the columns themselves become highlighted architectural elements.

Our ability to realise solutions like this rests on carrying out every stage, from design to production, in our own factory. Our engineering team planned the form and proportions of the modules specifically for this project, based on the column dimensions and office layout, ensuring flawless execution on site.

For complementary lighting, we used Recessed COB Downlights. With a clean design that blends into the ceiling, an aluminium body offering effective cooling performance and LUMILEDS LED modules rated at 60,000 hours, these luminaires provide balanced lighting across the space without overshadowing the effect of Galaksi Freedom.

The Galaksi Freedom system features a satin-finished anodised aluminium body, LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours and an ENEC-compliant constant current driver. The height-adjustable steel wire suspension system allowed the custom forms to be positioned precisely on the ceiling. Some of the luminaires also offer dimmable DALI driver and emergency kit options, meeting both energy saving and safety requirements.

As Pamir Lighting, exporting to more than 40 countries, we have once again demonstrated our bespoke design capabilities with an international reference through this office project in Switzerland. Contact us to learn more about tailored lighting solutions for your space.
