PTT Branches Lighting Concept Project

As Pamir Lighting, we developed a dedicated lighting concept for the branches of PTT, the long-established national postal organisation of Türkiye. For branches operating in different cities and in buildings of different types, our aim was to create a lighting scheme that reflects the same corporate identity everywhere and is easy to apply and replicate.

Our priority in the concept study was to provide a comfortable lighting environment in the areas where citizens receive services and an efficient one in the areas where staff work. To this end, we defined a standard product set and layout principle that can be applied in every branch. This ensures visual consistency across branches, while the same quality and appearance can easily be achieved in newly opened or renovated branches.

In counter and work areas, we used V-Line Recessed linear luminaires. With a body height of just 61 mm, V-Line has the shallowest profile among recessed linear luminaires and can therefore be installed even in branches with limited ceiling void, whatever the type of building. With its slim 57 mm profile and lengths from 861 mm to 2840 mm, V-Line creates clear, orderly lines of light along the counters, giving the branches a modern look.

In waiting and general service areas, we chose Recessed SMD Downlights. With a clean design that blends into the ceiling, an aluminium body providing effective cooling and LED modules rated at 60,000 hours, these luminaires provide balanced and long-lasting lighting across the space.

At points requiring accent lighting, we used Quadro Fixtures with GU10 Socket. With its black aluminium body and square form, Quadro highlights corporate areas and details that need attention, adding character to the interior of the branches. Thanks to its socket design, lamps can be replaced easily, which simplifies maintenance across a large number of branches.

The luminaires used in the project feature long-life, ENEC-compliant constant current drivers. Some of the luminaires also offer dimmable DALI driver and emergency kit options, meeting both energy saving and safety requirements.
