Kalde Pipe Aksaray Factory Lighting Project

As Pamir Lighting, we delivered the lighting solutions for the production areas of Kalde Pipe's factory in Aksaray, Türkiye. In pipe manufacturing, production lines run in a long, linear arrangement; in a layout where processes such as quality control, measurement and packaging continue uninterrupted along the line, the lighting needs to follow the same pattern. With this in mind, our aim was to create an efficient and long-lasting scheme that lights the production lines evenly from end to end.

In this project, we used Industrial High Bay linear LED luminaires. Distributing light along a line rather than from a single point, this product works in natural harmony with long pipe production lines. By positioning the luminaires parallel to the line axis, we created a continuous band of light along the length of the production line. As a result, operators can see the product clearly at every point on the line and easily spot surface defects and dimensional deviations.

Its efficacy, which holds steady at around 122 lm/W across all types, simplifies the lighting calculations in a large production hall where different lengths and powers are used together, while keeping energy consumption low. Thanks to three power levels offered at the same length, we set different light levels for line sections and for storage and shipping areas as needed, without changing the luminaire layout. The busbar mounting option also allows luminaires to be repositioned easily if the layout of the production lines changes in future.

With its aluminium body offering effective cooling, LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours and an ENEC-compliant, low-loss constant current driver, Industrial High Bay is a solution that can be used for many years with low maintenance costs in production facilities that operate around the clock.
