Çamlıca Tower Interior Lighting Project

As Pamir Lighting, we designed and manufactured a bespoke luminaire for the interior of Çamlıca Tower, one of Istanbul's landmark structures. In a building this special, the lighting also needed to be a unique design element worthy of the character of the space.

To achieve this, we developed a single custom luminaire exclusively for this project, based on the Galaksi Freedom modular system. Built on the principle of joining arc and straight modules end to end, Galaksi Freedom allows us to create free forms that cannot be achieved with standard luminaires. Thanks to this flexibility, we designed an original, single-piece light form in harmony with the architectural language of the tower. The resulting luminaire provides functional lighting while creating a focal point that draws visitors' attention.

Our ability to realise designs like this rests on carrying out every stage, from design to production, in our own factory. Our engineering team planned the form, proportions and suspension details of the luminaire specifically for this project, ensuring flawless execution on site.

The luminaire uses the technical platform of the Galaksi Freedom series: a satin-finished anodised aluminium body, LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours and an ENEC-compliant constant current driver. The height-adjustable steel wire suspension system allowed the luminaire to be positioned precisely in the space. The product is also available with dimmable DALI driver and emergency kit options.
