Yozgat Science Centre Lighting Project

As Pamir Lighting, we delivered the lighting solutions for Yozgat Science Centre. In this space in Yozgat, Türkiye, which brings visitors of all ages together with science and invites them to explore and learn, our aim was to create a lighting scheme that is both functional and inspiring.

In this project, we used ring-shaped Galaksi O Direct pendant luminaires. With its soft and balanced geometry evoking the universal language of science, Galaksi O suits the character of the space while forming a strong design element on the ceiling. Directing light straight downwards, it provides uniform light distribution in exhibition and activity areas, allowing visitors to explore the content comfortably.

A range of diameter options allowed us to size the luminaires to the scale of each area. The height-adjustable suspension system, made of 1 mm steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts, enabled precise positioning of the luminaires at different ceiling heights.

With its satin-finished anodised aluminium body, LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours and an ENEC-compliant constant current driver, Galaksi O Direct is a solution that can be used for many years with low maintenance costs. White and black colour options allow a design language in harmony with the interior architecture. The product is also available with dimmable DALI driver and emergency kit options.
