Vega Y Surface Mounted is the variant of the three-armed Y form that fixes directly to the ceiling. With no suspension components no ceiling height is given up; the luminaire rests against the ceiling and becomes part of the surface. The pattern the arms create reads more strongly in surface mounting, since the form sits level with the ceiling plane.
The product is manufactured in four codes. PL7UY22L15C gives 39 W and 4,390 lm at 870x994 mm, PL7UY33L15C 60 W and 6,585 lm at 1267x1472 mm, PL7UY44L15C 79 W and 8,780 lm at 1663x1951 mm, and PL7UY55L15C 99 W and 10,975 lm at 2060x2430 mm. Arm width is 70 mm and body height 90 mm; weight ranges from 4.3 kg to 10.5 kg. Power, flux and dimensions match the pendant model exactly, so both mounting types can be resolved on a single lighting calculation within a project.
The aluminium body is offered in white and black; the converter is a long-life, ENEC-compliant constant current type. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours. Suitable for shopping malls, markets, offices, meeting rooms, living rooms, waiting lounges, stores, hospitals, schools, corridors, hotel lobbies, universities, airports and terminals, libraries and public buildings. Dimmable DALI driver and emergency kit are optional; UGR<19 glare control and CRI 90 colour rendering can also be supplied on request.
