GALAKSI O MINI DIRECT

Galaksi O Mini Direct is the small-diameter, slim-section derivative of the ring form. Where the standard Galaksi O Direct works at 79 mm wide and 73 mm high, the Mini drops to 40 mm wide and 45 mm high. The diameter range narrows in step: 408 to 930 mm rather than 447 to 2254 mm. The result is a reduction in both the area the ring occupies on the ceiling and its perceived thickness.

The product is manufactured in seven codes. PL28SO8L15C opens the range at 26 W and 2,370 lm in 408 mm, with intermediate steps at 495, 580, 670, 755 and 845 mm. The largest type, PL28SO20L15C, gives 66 W and 6,010 lm at 930 mm. Diameters step up in intervals of roughly 85 to 90 mm, which allows finer adjustment against furniture dimensions than the standard range.

Efficacy is roughly 91 lm/W. The small diameter and low power band show a product conceived to be used in groups rather than to light a room on its own: hanging several rings at varying heights builds a composition. Café tables, retail display islands, reception desks, residential projects and executive floors suit that use. The aluminium body is offered in white and black; the converter is a long-life, ENEC-compliant constant current type. LED modules from LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA are rated at 60,000 hours. The suspension uses 1 mm braided steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts with adjustable drop. Suitable for shopping malls, markets, offices, meeting rooms, stores, hospitals, schools, corridors, cafés and restaurants, hotel lobbies, reception areas, showrooms and executive floors.
