Galaksi O Acoustic-LED Pendant Luminaire

Galaksi O Acoustic is a ring-form LED pendant with sound-absorbing material integrated into the body. It differs from the textile-covered variant in its surface finish: the acoustic function is retained while the appearance stays plainer and more neutral. In tall volumes with hard surfaces the luminaire takes on lighting and reverberation control together, reducing the need for separate acoustic panels.

The product is manufactured in seventeen types. Power runs from 26 W to 221 W and flux from 2,585 lm to 24,150 lm. Diameters are 447, 620, 800, 980, 1155, 1335, 1500, 1890 and 2070 mm, with two LED densities, L15C and L25C, on every diameter from 620 mm upward. Body width is 79 mm and height 73 mm; weight ranges from 5.1 kg to 19.2 kg. Product codes run from PL8SAO4L15C to PL8SAO22L25C.

Combining the lighting and acoustic solution in one product simplifies the ceiling: more free surface remains for diffusers, sprinklers and detectors. The aluminium body is offered in white and black, with LUMILEDS, OSRAM and NICHIA LED modules rated at 60,000 hours and an ENEC-compliant constant current converter. The suspension uses 1 mm braided steel cable and nickel-plated brass parts. Suitable for shopping malls, supermarkets, offices, meeting rooms, stores, hospitals, schools and corridors.
