Simetri Slim Acoustic -Acoustic LED Luminaire

Simetri    Slim    Acoustic    is    an    acoustic    LED    luminaire    whose    slim,    straight-line    form    fits    easily    into    contemporary    office    architecture.    The    biggest    advantage of    linear    luminaires    in    offices    is    that    they    align    with    the    furniture    layout:    desk    rows,    benches    and    corridor    axes    are    linear,    so    a    luminaire    running    in    the same    direction    settles    into    place    both    functionally    and    visually.    This    model    achieves    that    alignment    while    adding    an    acoustic    layer    through    its absorptive    body. Noise    in    open-plan    offices    rarely    comes    from    a    single    source;    it    builds    as    many    conversations    reflect    off    hard    surfaces.    The    ceiling    is    the    largest    of    those surfaces.    Because    the    luminaire's    absorptive    body    —    9    mm    recycled    PET    felt    —    sits    at    the    ceiling    plane,    it    intercepts    reflections    close    to    their    origin.    The material's    NRC    value    to    EN    ISO    354    is    0.70,    with    an    absorption    coefficient    of    0.87    at    400    Hz. Fire    performance    of    the    acoustic    material    is    classified    B-s1,    d0    under    EN    13501-1.    ASTM    E84    testing    returned    Class    A    with    a    flame    spread    index    of    10 and    a    smoke    developed    index    of    55.    The    aluminium    body    is    offered    in    white    and    black.    LUMILEDS,    OSRAM    and    NICHIA    LED    modules    rated    at    60,000 hours,    an    ENEC-compliant    constant    current    converter    and    an    adjustable    braided    steel    suspension    are    standard.On request, UGR<19 glare control and CRI 90 colour rendering can also be provided.
