Luno Acoustic -Acoustic LED Luminaire

Luno    Acoustic    is    a    ring-form    acoustic    LED    luminaire    distinguished    by    the    softness    of    its    light.    With    a    body    height    of    73    mm    it    presents    a    slim    profile    and sits    close    to    the    ceiling    plane.    Rather    than    hard,    direct    illumination,    the    design    targets    a    more    diffuse    distribution    that    is    easier    on    the    eye.    That character    matters    in    spaces    where    people    spend    extended    periods    —    hospital    waiting    halls,    office    break    areas    and    hotel    lobbies. The    product    is    available    in    eight    diameters    from    447    mm    to    1890    mm,    with    26-200    W    of    power    and    luminaire    output    flux    from    2,585    to    21,945    lm.    The ring    section    measures    79    mm    wide.    The    acoustic    function    is    carried    by    the    absorptive    body,    made    from    9    mm    recycled    PET    felt.    Weighing    roughly    1.75 kg/m²,    the    material    reached    an    NRC    value    of    0.70    in    reverberation    room    testing    to    EN    ISO    354. Sound    accumulating    through    reflection    off    hard    surfaces    degrades    speech    intelligibility,    particularly    in    tall,    glass-heavy    volumes.    Absorption    coefficients of    0.80    at    500    Hz    and    0.86    at    630    Hz    reduce    those    reflections.    Fire    classification    is    B-s1,    d0    under    EN    13501-1    and    Class    A    under    ASTM    E84.    LUMILEDS, OSRAM    and    NICHIA    LED    modules    rated    at    60,000    hours    are    paired    with    an    ENEC-compliant    converter.
