Galaksi Dolunay Acoustic -Acoustic LED Luminaire

Galaksi    Dolunay    Acoustic    takes    its    name    from    the    full    disc    of    a    full    moon.    Unlike    the    hollow    ring    models,    the    entire    body    is    designed    as    a    closed    disc. That    choice    brings    two    advantages:    light    diffuses    across    a    broader,    softer    surface,    and    the    absorptive    area    grows    considerably    at    the    same    diameter. Since    absorption    performance    scales    directly    with    surface    area,    the    solid    disc    contributes    more    acoustically    than    a    ring    of    equal    diameter. The    acoustic    layer    is    9    mm    recycled    PET    felt.    Weighing    roughly    1.75    kg/m²,    the    material    reached    an    NRC    value    of    0.70    in    reverberation    room    testing    to EN    ISO    354.    Absorption    coefficients    sit    at    0.80    at    500    Hz    and    0.86    at    630    Hz.    The    difference    is    tangible    in    meeting    rooms,    phone    booths    and    highceilinged    waiting    halls    —    the    spaces    where    reverberation    becomes    genuinely    uncomfortable. On    fire    performance,    the    material    is    classified    B-s1,    d0    under    EN    13501-1    and    Class    A    under    ASTM    E84.    The    body    is    aluminium    in    white    or    black.    Light comes    from    LUMILEDS,    OSRAM    and    NICHIA    LED    modules    rated    at    60,000    hours.    An    ENEC-compliant    converter,    adjustable    braided    steel    suspension    and a    neatly    designed    ceiling    junction    box    are    standard;    a    DALI    driver    and    emergency    kit    are    optional.On request, UGR<19 glare control and CRI 90 colour rendering can also be provided.
